After many years of tradition in the cultivation of the vine and the production of wines in La Fortesa (town of the Penedès), the Torrens Moliner family decides to create a new winery in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. It was 1986 and that’s when the TORRENS MOLINER brand was born.

Throughout all these years, TORRENS MOLINER has remained faithful to its philosophy, combining the best quality in artisanal production, the most advanced technology and the know-how of its people.

Our mission is the production of top quality Wines and Caves, positioning them in the medium-high segment of the market, creating and promoting a solid, independent brand image identified with a job well done.

We control the entire production process, from our own vineyards, vinifying the grapes from our property, and in our Celler de La Fortesa (Anoia).

 

Our land, the origin of the character of our products

Our vineyards in La Fortesa, a small town located near Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, are the origin of our raw material.

The Mediterranean climate, warm, mild and sunny, favors the good maturation of our precious grape varieties: Macabeu, Xarel·lo and Parellada.

The estate of “Les plaines de la Riba” is the main value, exponent and standard of our wines and cavas. In this farm you can find our family cellar, built in 2007.

Traditional preparation with a very special personality

The more than 100 years as winegrowers, and 40 years as producers of Wines and Caves, give us a constant dynamic process of continuous improvement, looking for the best quality of the precious Grapes, to make our products of Wines and Caves.

We combine the artisan process, with technology, always under the knowledge acquired during the years of passion for our work.

Vinifying our own grapes sets us apart from the rest, and marks us with our own personality.

 

Our collection

Our cavas

Xare.lo is the predominant variety in our Cava blend, always accompanied by Macabeu and Parellada. In long aging, we incorporate the Chardonnay variety. We bet on indigenous varieties, such as Trepat, in our prized Torrens Moliner Rosé.

Our wines

Limited productions, prioritizing the product, starting from grapes from old vineyards, in Vermea smepre maual, using Macabeu, Xarel.lo and sporadically, Sauvignon Blanc. We macerate and vinify with our own skins, occasionally incorporating French oak wood.
